Phoenix Security & Technology has designed, installed and serviced commercial security systems across the Valley since 2004. We are a local team of camera, alarm and access control technicians, and we are hiring.

Access Control Technician (full time, Phoenix)

  • $25–$35/hour, based on experience
  • Company vehicle, laptop and phone
  • Job performance bonuses

What you will do

  • Install, program and service card, mobile and keypad access control: panels, readers, electrified locks, exit devices and request-to-exit
  • Troubleshoot existing systems, including ones other companies installed
  • Pull and terminate low-voltage cable and work alongside our camera and alarm technicians
  • Work directly with business owners, property managers and HOAs

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of commercial access control experience
  • DMP experience preferred
  • Comfortable with door hardware and low-voltage wiring
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record; able to pass a background check

Network Technician, Level 1 (entry level, full time, Phoenix)

New to the trade? We train. Learn low voltage and networking alongside our senior technicians.

  • $18–$24/hour
  • Company vehicle, tools, laptop, iPad and phone
  • Full time: 3 months to permanent hire

What you will do

  • Pull, terminate, label and test Cat6 and fiber cable
  • Mount and connect racks, switches, cameras and wireless access points
  • Help set up and troubleshoot the networks behind camera and access control systems
  • Keep job sites clean and safe, and document your work with photos

What we are looking for

  • Reliable, on time and eager to learn; comfortable on ladders and in attics
  • Basic computer and networking knowledge (IP addresses, switches) is a plus
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ or low-voltage coursework is a plus, not required
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record; able to pass a background check
